born and grown up in Tbilisi, Georgia.
1977 school-leaving exam
1977 - 82 studied classical philology at the Tbilisi State University, played saxophone in the Georgian Television Big Band and the Tbilisi Conservatory Quintet, at various festivals in Tbilisi,Tallin, Vilnius etc.
1982 University Diploma
1981 - 90 composition studies under Michael Shugliashvili (1941-1996).  
1986 - 90 composition studies at the Tbilisi Conservatory, additionally studied georgian traditional music.
1988 - 91 was a member of the Antchiskhati Cathedral Choir in Tbilisi.
1991 moved to Germany and studied composition under Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Döhl at the Musikhochschule Lübeck, also Electroacoustic Music under Prof. Dirk Reith, was an assistant at the Electronic Studio there.
1992 - 94 member of the improvisation ensensemble "Nuova Sonanza", collaboration with Butoh dance  company "tatoeba - theatre dance grotesque" (Berlin).
1993 composition award of  the Marie-Louise-Imbusch-Stiftung.
1997 composition award of the Neue Akademie Braunschweig.  
1998 composition diploma and further studies at the Musikhochschule Lübeck.
since 2000
collaboration with the modern dance company ‘TanzOrt Nord(2000 - „Maria Magdalena“  2001 - „Cumulus“; 2002 - „DisTanz“)
2001 "Konzetexamen" (//master's degree) in composition

currently assintant professor at the Ilia Chavchavadze University in Tbilisi; also teaching saxophone and improvisation at the Lübecker  Musikschule  and electronics at the Musikhochschule Lübeck
perfporming both as saxophone-player and computer musician in various formations of jazz, contemporary music, free improvisation,  coauthor of many projects with dance, visual arts, poetry, theater etc.
